Bronx, New York rapper Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years in prison today (May 13). Remy Ma, who appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court, burst into tears upon hearing the sentence, which was delivered by Judge Rena Uviller.

And my verdict is BITCH! u need to stop trying to thug it out! and deal with the time. Those tears mean nothing, all my peoples said be NICE! for what, first off you knew when you pulled that trigger Ms. Remy Wayne u knew what you was doing! It's a wrap for SKOPE MAGAZINE! The Music Publication is closing it's door making the May/June 08 the last...

Skope's CEO, Michael Friedman said, "I am very upset about this event. The print medium is in a very tough spot right now with the decline of AD & newsstand sales. This is very hard news to take for so many people. I will be taking the next few weeks to clean up this mess and see what is next."

We would like to thank you all for 7 years of great music, fun, and a great publication!
