SPS: What's good Scarlett or is it Fever? Introduce yourself for those that havent had the chance of meeting you?
My name is Fever for those who know me. Scarlet was added to the name when I got signed to Universal because someone already had that name. Since they say the flows are sick Scarlet Fever is what you get.
SPS: You been in the music game for a while. Can you tell us how you got started?
I started with the rap group " The Athletes" out of Rahway, NJ. We were signed under Queen Latifah and came out on the Unit Album in 2002. When that situation was over I left my group and became a solo artist and released my debut single "Peanut Butta" under UMG in 2004.

SPS: You were affiliated with previous camps such as Nore\'s thugged out entertainment and 50\'s G-Unit. How did it feel to be co-signed by so many high profiled artists? Actually that's not me. I was with Queen Latifah's the Unit. But artists who've been in the game respect my style and my hustle because its my own. I don\'t copy anyone and I think that\'s the key to success, because no one can be you but you, so why not be yourself.
SPS: A lot of women are criticized because of their approach with selling such a sexual image with their music. What are your views on that? As I stated in the 2005 XXL interview. I think that my music is good enough to sell without taking my clothes off. My image is sexy thug so I could get it anyway, but I choose to do it with dignity and respect.);
SPS: What are your plans as of now? What does the future hold for Scarlet Fever? As of today I'm an independent up north artist and my biggest buzz comes from the south. So basically I'm working on getting exposure where I'm from which will take a callabo with someone heavy in the game up here. I just did a joint with Big Tiger aka Big Tyke from SwishaHouse that has been getting a lot of attention. I'm releasing a monster of a female mixtape called " Rapper Girls Gone Wild" featuring the hottest signed and unsigned chicks in the game.My album is almost complete and I'm expecting to drop it summer 07.

SPS: Is thre anything you want the readers to know? The business is truly a dirty game and especially for females. As a female they will always try to put you with a male dominated team eventually ending up on the back burner. I'm living proof that if you believe that you are good enough follow my rule " do it yourself" and it will get done. I do it all; writing,recording, engineering,marketing to name a few.I believe I'm not where I should be because of things I would not do to get on. But if you respect yourself others will respect you and when you do make it, you will love it even more);
