I signed a ring tone and mobile digital content distribution agreement with Swagger Wireless, whose clients include Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella Records, etc. Swagger is run by music industry veteran, CEO Briant Biggs, who maintains a music management firm that is affiliated with Roc-a-Fella Records. Swagger Wireless and I are having a huge promotion for the music in March. We are calling this promotion, "March Madness."

Secondly, I released some notable information (as a blog) a few weeks back on my myspace page titled, “Spike Lee's protégé, Lee Davis to direct Lucy Diamonds video (Myspace casting call).” So far there has been an overwhelming response from people since I’m giving anyone on myspace the opportunity to work on my video with the famed director Davis, who has also directed Danny Glover, Pam Grier, Michelle Rodriguez and Saul Williams, etc. The actual filming for this video will take place March. Over a hundred people have been chosen so far from myspace for this promotion.

The video is for the first single titled, “Soul Searching,” which is a track produced by Paolo Rustichelli (who has worked with Miles Davis, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock, etc). This is the first “official” single from my upcoming debut album titled, “Poor Dream Redemption.” It was very inspiring to work with a musical legend such as Paolo. When he sent me the track, he said, “I had Miles [Davis] in mind when I made this.” The track came out beautifully….

This video is also a double-feature, with an additional song called “Blood Diamonds (Invulnerable Heart),” as the second half of the video. This track features saxophonist Benny Reid (Concord Music Group), violinist Queen Rose (DJ Finesse, DJ Scientific), guitarist Todd Whitener (multi-platinum rock recording artist from Tantric & Days of The New), and it was produced by The Labratz & Jon Hay of Ringz & Partners Entertainment (firm that handles RZA & Focus – Aftermath Producer).

Also, the single “Soul Searching,” has two official remixes- one by Coptic (who has produced for The Notorious BIG, P. Ditty, Jermaine Dupri, Memphis Bleek), and the other by DJ Skooly who did music for the controversial underground classic DVD, “Loose Change.”

I've been nominated for “R&B Artist of the Year” by Get’em Magazine, and the award show is at the first of April. This is the 2nd Annual Get'em Awards in Pensacola, FL (March 30th - April 1st, 2007). Other nominees for this award are Keisha Cole, Ciara, Jade Foxx & Monica. I’m also playing in the celebrity basketball game at this event.

My radio promotions team, PoloworkzPromo is releasing the song “New Life” which features Aasim from Bad Boy Entertainment to radio starting Feb.19. PoloworkzPromo has promoted hits for labels such as, Roc-A-Fella & Def Jam. People are getting to catch a glimpse of Aasim on this track as he prepares to release his Bad Boy debut this year too. I've featured this song on myspace page for a while now, however - it's time for radio!!! :)

Grant Kahler from Kahler Films is releasing the video for “Glamorous Life” which features Amil from Roc-A-Fella Records. This video will be made available to the public this February as well. Grant Kahler is known for his work on the “Ghost Face Live DVD.” I am very excited to show the public this video. We have some surprises in the video… lol
