Considered the highest paid Black male model in the world, Tyson Beckford, who currently hosts the television car series "Fine Tuned," has joined a star-studded lineup of presenters for the 12th Annual Urban Wheel Awards (UWA). The spectacular event will take place on January 15, 2008 at the majestic Fox Theatre in Detroit. The Urban Wheels Awards, known as the Academy Awards of the automotive industry, will pay tribute to those pioneering automotive industry leaders who transcend the mainstream and embrace diversity to create and improve products and services that appeal to a larger customer base.

I hear a lot of people complaining about the quality of recent Hip Hop singles, so I've got one question for you: Why the FUCK is Def Jam not running to put out that Freeway & Jay-Z Big Spender joint as a video? Isn't Jayonce talking about " nick to a dime a dime to some millions a brick to the roc the roc to some building??? ballin yeah dammit u gonna be crawling if u dont put out that dam video!The Roc has crumbled so why not try to rebuild it? Is Def Jam purposely trying to hold the Roc back? Are they only keeping the Roc to make sure Jay sticks around? Then Freeway should leave with him to Columbia, I bet they would put out a video. I've heard it being spun everywhere I've traveled in the past month - Atlanta, Jersey, New York, even L.A. Since when has Freeway gotten this much love outside of Philly? I'm starting to wonder if the guys in those offices have any idea of what the fuck they're doing or what fans want. It's time to bring the Roc back! With Big Spender Freeway can be the one to do it. I felt the need to post this as a story! cause people need to know What this man has contributed to hip hop and the world!
The man behind it was Harlem-born producer, Damon "Dame Grease" Blackmon. After that breakout hit, he continued to blaze a trail for himself with extensive work on DMX's along with Mase's debut album. He also sold over 30,000,000 records in the process and scored movies like; Turn It Up with Ja Rule and Pras, Never Die Alone with DMX and David Arquette, Exit Wounds with DMX and Steven Segal, and Cradle To The Grave with DMX and Jet Li.
Today he hasn't missed a beat, cranking out the major hit, "Big Spender" with Freeway featuring Jay-Z as he continues to assist fellow Harlem natives The Diplomats with their sound needs. IKE TURNER DIES AT 76
IKE Turner, musician and ex-husband of singer Tina Turner, has died at the age of 76, his manager says. Turner, who rose to fame in the 1950s and became a star performing with his ex-wife Tina Turner, died at age 76.
"Ike Turner passed away this morning. He was at his home," in San Marcos, California, outside San Diego, said Scott Hanover of Thrill Entertainment.
Mr Hanover did not have any further information about the cause of death.

My source from Texas, just called me to let me know Pimp C is dead. Rest in Peace Pa!. Bun B called in to the radio station (97.9 The Box) in Houston, TX to confirm.
Pimp C, real name Chad Butler -- and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33. L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the Mondrian Hotel, located on trendy Sunset Strip in Hollywood. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed.
